Vocational Training Program Service Agreement

This Service Agreement governs participation in the Samurais of Sound Vocational Media Training Program provided by Strawberry Hill Studio, Inc. By enrolling in any program track, you agree to the following terms.


1. Program Overview

Samurais of Sound provides structured vocational training, mentorship, portfolio development, and industry exposure designed to support creative skill development, communication growth, and career exploration in:

  • Voice acting

  • Music production

  • Audio production

  • Creative media

Participants may enroll in a single-track or dual-track vocational program. All tracks operate under this unified agreement.

The program is educational and vocational in nature and does not constitute employment, job placement, or agency representation.


2. No Guarantee of Employment or Career Outcomes

Participation in the program does not guarantee:

  • Casting or bookings

  • Income or earnings

  • Representation

  • Professional placement

  • Career advancement

Creative industry outcomes depend on individual effort, skill development, market demand, and other external factors beyond program control.

All services are provided for educational and vocational development purposes.


3. Participation & Conduct

2. No Guarantee of Employment or Career Outcomes

Participation in the program does not guarantee:

  • Casting or bookings

  • Income or earnings

  • Representation

  • Professional placement

  • Career advancement

Creative industry outcomes depend on individual effort, skill development, market demand, and other external factors beyond program control.

All services are provided for educational and vocational development purposes.


3. Participation & Conduct

Participation in coaching sessions, workshops, collaborative activities, and community spaces is voluntary. However, participants are responsible for actively engaging in their own development within the program.

Individual 1:1 training sessions are not automatically scheduled. Participants must independently book their own sessions using the program’s designated scheduling system (e.g., Calendly or other provided booking platform).

Failure to schedule sessions does not constitute a cancellation, refund, or extension of services. Unused sessions or missed booking opportunities are the responsibility of the participant.

Participants agree to:

  • Engage respectfully
  • Maintain professional conduct
  • Support a safe and inclusive learning environment

Samurais of Sound reserves the right to suspend or remove participants whose behavior disrupts the program environment. Refunds are not guaranteed in such cases.


4. Payment & Enrollment Terms

Enrollment secures access to the program for the designated program year.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Enrollment does not renew automatically

  • Fees are non-refundable once access begins

  • Payment plans must be completed as agreed

  • Continued participation requires adherence to program policies

If enrollment is funded through a third party (Self-Determination, regional center funding, vocational rehabilitation, etc.), participants remain responsible for maintaining funding authorization and communication with their support team.


5. Funding & Third-Party Payment Responsibility

When third-party funding is used:

  • Participants and/or their representatives are responsible for maintaining approved funding

  • Delays or interruptions in funding do not guarantee continued access

  • Samurais of Sound may pause services if payment authorization is not maintained

We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate with support teams but cannot guarantee funding approval or continuity.


6. Limitation of Liability

All training, coaching, and materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Samurais of Sound and Strawberry Hill Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to participation, including:

  • Career outcomes

  • Lost opportunities

  • Equipment or technology issues

  • Third-party platforms

  • Funding interruptions


7. Non-Reliance

Participants acknowledge that no coaching, feedback, or program content constitutes a guarantee of professional success, income, or employment.

All instruction and guidance are provided solely for educational and vocational development.


8. Media Release & Promotional Use

By participating in program sessions, events, or recordings, you grant permission for Samurais of Sound and Strawberry Hill Studio to use your name, likeness, voice, image, and submitted materials for educational or promotional purposes.

This may include use in:

  • Websites

  • Social media

  • Program materials

  • Marketing communications

  • Course previews

All usage will be respectful and aligned with program values.

Participants may opt out of promotional use at any time by written request to info@strawberryhillmusic.com . Future use will be adjusted where reasonably possible.

No compensation is provided for promotional use.


9. Participant Content & Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of original work they create.

By submitting recordings, performances, or creative materials within the program, you grant Samurais of Sound a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such materials for:

  • Educational purposes

  • Program promotion

  • Collaborative productions

  • Portfolio or showcase examples

Participant work will not be used for AI voice cloning or synthetic voice training without explicit written consent.


10. Collaborative Projects & Creative Opportunities

Participants may be invited to audition for or contribute to collaborative productions or projects.

Participation is voluntary and does not guarantee casting, compensation, or future opportunities unless explicitly stated in writing for a specific project.

Any compensation or credit for specific projects will be defined separately.


11. Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samurais of Sound, Strawberry Hill Studio, and affiliates from any claims arising from participation, conduct, or misuse of program materials.


12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Marin County, California.


13. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in any Samurais of Sound vocational program track, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Service Agreement.

You understand the program provides vocational training and mentorship designed to support creative development and career exploration but does not guarantee employment or professional outcomes.

Samurais of Sound Membership - Purple Belt - Creative Media Track - 1 Year

A structured year-long vocational training program designed to support career pathways in graphic design, web design, video editing, and digital content creation.


🎨 Private Career Coaching & Creative Media Training

Where included in the participant’s program, participants receive twice-monthly 1:1 coaching sessions focused on individualized creative and vocational goals.

Sessions may include guidance in graphic design, web design, video editing, software workflows, project development, portfolio creation, and professional presentation.


🖥 Professional Portfolio & Project Development

Participants develop a professional creative media portfolio featuring original work in areas such as graphic design, websites, digital content, and video.

Guidance includes planning, design, editing, revisions, exporting, and presenting finished projects for employment, freelance opportunities, and continued creative development.


🎯 Guided Creative Media Project Experience

Creative Media participants complete practical projects based on real-world creative workflows, such as designing promotional graphics, building a website, developing a visual identity, or editing a finished video.

Projects support hands-on skill development, problem-solving, portfolio creation, and experience moving from an initial concept through revisions and final delivery.


🎓 Vocational Workshops & Masterclasses

Enrollment includes access to structured workshops and masterclasses covering design, digital media, creative software, professional workflows, portfolio development, and creative career skills.

Additional workshops and specialized training opportunities may also be available at participant rates.


💻 Comprehensive Training Library & Courses

Participants receive access to a growing library of practical Creative Media training covering graphic design, web design, video editing, creative workflow, file organization, digital formats, design principles, software, and project development.

Training resources are designed to support independent learning as well as individualized project work.


🤝 Community Integration & Collaboration

Participants can engage in collaborative creative sessions, community hubs, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, creative confidence, and project-sharing skills within a supportive neurodivergent-affirming environment.

Online and select in-person opportunities provide ways to connect with peers and creative professionals.


🌐 Creative Portfolio & Professional Presence

Participants receive guidance in selecting, organizing, and presenting their strongest creative work through a professional portfolio or portfolio website.

Training may also include project descriptions, personal branding, online presentation, and preparing creative work for freelance, employment, collaboration, or educational opportunities.


🛠 Creative Software & Technical Training

Participants develop practical skills using tools for graphic design, web design, video editing, file management, and digital content production.

Training may include programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro, website-building platforms, cloud collaboration tools, and AI-assisted creative tools, depending on participant goals and project needs.


🏅 Certificate of Completion

Participants who complete the program receive a certificate recognizing vocational training, skill development, and portfolio work in graphic design, web design, video editing, and creative media.
