A Weekend on Mars is a narrative-driven concept album by Raj Ramayya, connected to a growing world of original fiction, illustrated storytelling and music.

Its companion novella, The Cosmic Curry Chronicles of Ravi the Tantric Taxi Driver, weaves songs from throughout Raj’s career—including work connected to Cowboy Bebop, The Beautiful Losers and Anime Arcade Orchestra—into the original story of Ravi and Te-Purang.

The crowdfunding campaign is your opportunity to receive the complete album physically many months before its worldwide digital release—along with signed artwork, a T-shirt from the vault and, depending on your tier, the illustrated novella and limited numbered vinyl.

Hear the Complete Album Before the Rest of the World

Backers will receive the complete album physically in late 2026 or early 2027.

Beginning in January 2027, eight songs will be released digitally at approximately one per month. The complete album will not arrive on streaming platforms until November 19, 2027.

For many months, backers will be the only audience with access to the complete record.

Shipping

Backer packages are expected to begin shipping in late 2026, with remaining orders fulfilled in early 2027.

Every package will first be sent to Strawberry Hill Studio for quality control, signing, assembly and packaging. Orders will then be shipped directly to Founder buyers.

You will receive a confirmation and tracking information when your order ships. International delivery times may vary by destination and carrier.
