A Weekend on Mars is a narrative concept album that expands into an illustrated novella and audiobook — The Cosmic Curry Chronicles of Ravi the Tantric Taxi Driver. The tie-in novella weaves songs from throughout Raj’s career—including work connected to Cowboy Bebop, The Beautiful Losers and Anime Arcade Orchestra—into the original story of Ravi and Te-Purang.

About Raj

Raj Ramayya has spent decades working at the intersection of Japanese music, anime and global pop culture, with music connected to Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Made in Abyss and other projects.

A Weekend on Mars brings those worlds together with Raj's own songwriting, storytelling and Indian/Japanese/global musical influences.
